How would you describe Sahaja Meditation's relationship with the arts?
Sahaja Meditation has many flavors. Awakening the inner energy makes you very creative and enhances your appreciation of the arts. In fact, once the energy is awakened and sensitivity is obtained, the perception and medium of vibrations is enhanced, thus, enjoyment of, and participation in, the arts — actual artistic expression itself — sort of seems to double. A large part of the Sahaja Meditation practitioner community is into some form of art or music.
Music plays a very deep role in Sahaja Meditation, both as an aid to spiritual growth and as entertainment. Music — especially Indian Classical music, in my opinion — is a powerful method for evoking spiritual awakening. Indian Classical music — evolved out of the sounds and tunes that were identified through vibrations of the energy centers; hence is the organically ideal method for awakening the energy centers.
Music makes it much easier to divert your attention inward, a key requirement for energy awakening. And music has resonance with the energy centers, thus it can naturally energize them more readily than other techniques. A musician who has already received spiritual awakening already has a live energy system — energy centers filled with vibrations. Music is a powerful conduit for these vibrations, and musical notes rendered by spiritually awakened musicians, in particular, can create resonance within the listener's energy centers, thereby awakening the listeners' inner energy and providing the ultimate pleasurable experience of vibrations and spiritual enjoyment, as well as complete tranquility and inner peace.
Music has a deeply organic relationship with Sahaja Meditation. On the spiritual side, the energy centers in our body (chakras) can be made to vibrate or resonate at specific frequencies that match the frequency of each of the musical notes, which are the very atoms of music. Thousands of years ago, ancient sages identified unique sounds from birds and beasts in nature and established the basic musical notes known as "Swaras" in a particular order with specific intervals — Sa, Re, Ga, Ma, Pa, Dha, Ni, which corresponds to Do Re Me Fa Sol La Ti in the Western style of music.
Each note corresponds to a specific frequency of sound. In fact, the notes themselves were discovered or determined by ancient sages on the basis of energy vibrations within the inner subtle energy system and cosmic energy. Each note corresponds to the frequency at which a specific principal energy center in our body can resonate.

In general, I've come across a number of artists such as people that can paint or do some form of art work. It appears that an interest in art the levels of creativity increases with the inner energy awakening and it is fun to be in the company of these folks who will also share their work of art or music performance with you so easily and in a friendly way.
I've also attended a large number of entertainment programs in special functions where a lot of emphasis is given on the nurturing talent and bringing it to the fore. So, yes, Sahaja Meditation is big on arts and encouraging any kind of talent.
